Multi-platinum selling artist Joel Fletcher has teamed up with fellow Hampton Park locals HP BOYZ to bring you ‘Flacko’, a track where hefty dance music meets hip-hop flawlessly. Joel has been on a hot streak in 2020; his track ‘Vibe’ hit over 1 million streams, went into the Spotify Viral chart in Australia, and got to #14 on the Shazam chart in Sydney, with his follow up ‘The Den’ making him the face of Spotify’s ‘Monster Dance Hits’ playlist. With all of this, ‘Flacko’ is primed for greatness.
On ‘Flacko’, Joel Fletcher said, “This collaboration really hits home for me. I grew up in Hampton Park (HP) as a young kid and spent most of my life there up until 6 years ago. When I first herd the HP Boyz’ music I was blown away and I had to reach out to work on something. I love what ONIT and the HP Boyz are doing. They are the pioneers of a movement and are representing where we are from during the process. This record really resembles the true Melbourne Sound with a cranking baseline, screaming horns and an epic rap verse from HP ONIT. THIS IS FLACKO."
HP ONIT from HP BOYZ adds, “This is a huge collaboration for us (HP BOYZ) as we’ve always looked up to Joel Fletcher growing up. He was the first one to put Hampton Park on the map, before us he ran the ball up for our area. When I started high school he was/still is running shit when it comes to Melbourne Sound.
